Graphic Sound project

The Graphic Sound is a collection of graphic and non traditional scores by contemporary Russian composers and musicians. The collection was founded by Dmitry Shubin in 2014 and currently is a part of St.Petersburg Sound Museum exposition.

Main exhibitions of the collection:

  • 2014, October-November  -  The State Academic Capella, St.Petersburg;
  • 2015, September  -  The ERARTA Museum of Contemporary Art, St.Petersburg;
  • 2019, April-June  -  The Russian National Library, St.Petersburg

The Graphic Sound collection includes the samples of scores by Sergey Zagniy, Dmitry Kurliandsky, Vladimir Rannev, Aleksey Sysoev, Sergey Nevsky, Vladimir Gorlinsky, Nikolay Khrust, Kirill Shirokov, Marina Poleukhina, Mark Kommer, Alexander Chernyshkov, Yuri Akbalkan, Nikolay Rubanov, Alexey Nadzharov, Elena Rykova, Vera Bezrukova and many other composers and musicians.
